New football stadium in Belgium is a beautiful showcase for Aluminco and its product, Crystalline.

Aluminco “scored” in safety, design, and excellent view of the Arena with the implementation of the innovative product, glass supporting system, Crystalline.

Opened in 2013, the project used more than 700m of Crystalline Type E in balconies and balustrades combining the benefits of safety, edge stability, transparency and design flexibility. Crystalline Type E fullfils the requirements  to be installed in football stadiums according to the Belgian K.B. of the second of June 1999, published on the 10th of july 1999.

Crystalline Type E is a heavy duty on floor system, unmatched for its ability to safety, visual appeal and practicality to high traffic external spaces. The excellent engineering design of the system with the certified mechanical properties make it a signature product.

The successful completion of the new football stadium in Gent confirmed by winning the Grand Prix Award held at Cosmos Cinema in Berlin on June 6 2014 and the 2014 “Interiors Awards” from Contract Magazine.
